This year’s race is a Submarine themed event.  One of the focuses of this race is to support enhancing the public’s awareness of Submarines by helping to provide funds to help obtain/install a submarine periscope at the Brevard Veteran’s Center in Merritt Island. Additional funds will help to support the year round programs that the Navy League spearheads, including supporting visiting Navy Ships, Sailor of the Quarter/Year recognition, Sea Cadet programs and more.
